Event news: A Modern Biryani Feast, 3 October

Saurav Nath Modern Biryani Feast supperclub pop up

Bonkers about biryani? Then this is an Indian supperclub you must not miss. Michelin-trained chef Saurav Nath is hosting a belt-busting feast at West London restaurant Chakra, celebrating the rice-based dish in all its glory – and incarnations. And it doesn’t stop there; this multi-course menu features everything from starters to sweetmeats.

The man behind the pans knows his stuff, having honed his skills first at India’s renowned Taj hotel group then in the UK at three-AA-Rosette-winning Three Monkeys; Atul Kocchar’s Michelin-starred Benares; Michelin-starred Gymkhana; and East London hip-spot Inito. Currently you’ll find Saurav at Tapasya @ Marina in Hull – or, just as likely, tucking into a big old bowl of biryani…
